Calling all veterinarians around the world! Cats need your help (and so do we)!

Cats are masters at hiding pain, which poses a unique challenge for veterinary professionals in pain recognition and management. Are we doing enough to address this issue? What are the current gaps in our knowledge, and how can we work together to do better as a profession?

Veterinarians from the Centre for Animal Health and Welfare, Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine, City University of Hong Kong are working in collaboration with several organizations to conduct a global survey on the use of analgesics in cats. We want to understand veterinarian’s current attitudes and practices on the use of analgesics and techniques related to acute and chronic pain management in cats. The survey is open to veterinarians worldwide and will take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Your participation will be anonymous and voluntary. To complete the survey, scan the QR code or click on the following LINK.

The survey will be available from 30 April 2024 to 30 July 2024. If you have any questions, please contact:
Professor Paulo Steagall (pmortens@cityu.edu.hk)

Your time and participation are greatly appreciated. Thank you for collaborating for cats!
