    The 5th meeting of the EU Platform on Animal Welfare

    The 5thmeeting of the Animal Welfare Platform took place on June 18 in Brussels. It was the penultimate one for the EU Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, Vytenis Andriukaitis, who announced the extension of the Platform until June 2021. He advised that the animal welfare should be kept high on the next Commission’s agenda.
